Sport Rehabilitation Camp

According to the data of the Ministry of Social Affairs, there are 200000 / two hundred thousand people with disabilities, of whom 8600 / eight thousand six hundred / eighteen years old. Pyunic initiates summer sport rehabilitation camp projects to address the problem of children and youth with disabilities to become more active and integrated. The camp provides active rest through organizing sporting and leisure time events. It helps participants become self-reliant and self-confident and ensures positive socialization. The recruitment policy of the organization into summer camps is quite interesting as children participate in the shifts without their parents. This enables the organization to maximize self-esteem and mitigate the over-care of many families, which in reality does not help children with disabilities, but hinders their further integration into society. Disabled children from orphanages are also included in the camp.
